School Visit from Australian Koala Foundation

On Monday the students in Prep-2 were visited by a very special friend. A very big koala attended our assembly to collect the $650 cheque Animal Club donated to the Australian Koala Foundation (AKF). The extra few hundred dollars raised by the sale of the pouches is being put back into the club for future fundraising endeavours.

The AKF primarily looks after the habitat of our native koalas and they are so pleased with the money raised, that they gave us three very special koalas to sponsor.

Animal Club will be selling more products to raise money for the AKF at this Friday’s end of term assembly as it is Save the Koala month.

The Animal Club members get to meet their giant koala friend!
