“Most of us would probably say we loved animals.  Many of us own a dog or a cat or perhaps something more exotic.  These animals we see daily and interact with.  They are part of our family.  The lives of many animals however are hidden from us.  I remember being driven through the country as a small boy and often seeing pigs in the fields.  Now I rarely see them - WHY?  By setting up an Animal Club with a few friends at your school you might be able to answer that question and ask yourself many others.  You may be able to make a difference to the lives of many animals... and perhaps win a prize for your school as well.  I reckon you'll have a lot of fun too. See if you can do something to give animals a voice.”
